Abstract

Qualifying technologies of Industry 4.0, the recognition of the project’s “centrality” and the integration between ideation and design practice are at the basis of cHOMgenius experimental project, winner of “Smart Living” call for tender and funded by Regione Lombardia to support experimental development and innovation projects (S&I) carried out by partnerships and universities. This project responds to the aim of introducing new or ameliorative products, processes/services from a technological, productive and organisational perspective, in order to valorise the ‘Smart Living’ theme. cHOMgenius proves that the direction of ideas (represented by the technological culture’s approach to design, which need to be “accomplishable” and to “anticipate decisions”) produces innovation for the Internet of “things”.
