Abstract

The research entitled Flood Risk Management Prevention, Adaptation and Resilient Strategies in Ho Chi Minh city, the partial outcomes of which are presented in this text, is framed within the Projects of Great International Relevance of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the consolidation of bilateral relations between Italy and Vietnam. The University of Trento, the IUAV University of Venice and the Vietnam National University are working together to propose alternative landscape and hydraulic scenarios to face the challenges posed by the excessive anthropic load and climate change that squeeze and weaken the river landscape of the metropolis, not allowing the fragile lacustrine territories to breathe adequately.
