Abstract

Although outcomes of complex coevolutionary interactions, landscape and biodiversity are often addressed by separated policies. Which role is played by the new concept of landscape introduced by the European Landscape Convention in reshaping biodiversity and nature conservation approaches within policies? Some answers are suggested in the following pages, moving from the analysis of the National Biodiversity and Action Plans of the EU Member States.
