Abstract
Jacques Simon was a precursor of the Land Art and one of the most prestigious and creative masters of the French and European Landscape Architecture’s School, who died recently, shortly after the death of his great friend and partner Michel Corajoud. Remembering his thinking and his extraordinary ability to introduce into the landscape the language of Art and Poetry, means, today, the want of a beginning of an European "program" of Landscape Design experimentations of to transform critical issues in urban and suburban contemporary open spaces, in to several creative opportunities for sustainable development shared by local communities.
