Abstract

This paper, synthetically outlining the issues faced by the ANSCA from the 1960 Gubbio Congress, wishes to tell about the Roberto Gambino‘s contributions on these issues. In particular, his contribution on the landscape topics has allowed the ANCSA to link the issues about protection and revitalization of the Historical Centres with the territorial, environmental and social context. Basically, he has proposed to the ANCSA a highly integrated “look”, well balanced between institutional positions (UNESCO, etc.) and autonomous positions, aimed at enhancing above all the social aspects.
