Abstract
Landscape Urbanism is now twenty years old. Controversial discipline, yet very popular since the start, perhaps for its capacity to face those typical urban modifications occurred after the disposal of many large infrastructures within the global economic and environmental decline. Overcome by other approaches and methodologies of wider symbiosis of landscape and architecture, such as the Ecological Urbanism, the Landscape Urbanism has indeed changed the way we think the project of the territory by including Gregory Bateson principle of the “ecology of the mind”. The attempt of this short essay is to present the various theoretical patterns of some of the discipline protagonists.
