Abstract
Starting from the reflection on the role of university education for professionals’ educational and training preparation, the paper proposes an exercise in re-reading the core competences, through the declination of the learning outcomes, coming out of the University study Course in Education and Training Science, L-19. In particular, relational-communicative competences are deepened, as the basis of the profession of educator and trainer, within the TECO-D/Pedagogy matrix, which represents a research tool on the core competencies of the L-19 itself. Relational-communicative competence is analyzed, deepened and defined using Dublin Descriptors, demonstrating the stringent link between training offer, skills and the construction of the professional family.
