Abstract

Starting from a reflection on the construct of “diffused” parenting within the systemicecological paradigm, this paper presents a scoping review of questionnaires used to assess parenting competences. The review highlights a wide variety of tools and descriptions
of the construct of parenting competence, identifying 14 sub-competences. Although underrepresented, the dimensions of eco/co-parenting are linked to the management of digital media influence and collaboration with schools. The study provides evidence and
insights into the multifaceted construct of parenting competence, emphasising the role of eco/co-parenting components in its development.
