Abstract

The survey starts from the analysis of social and anthropological changes taking place in our country and worldwide, which are leading to a progressive ageing of the population. This phenomenon therefore brings a new conception of old age, seen no longer as a stagnant phase of life, but as a period that can prove fruitful and rewarding for the person who lives it. In this sense, the sociological research and the social policies promoted by the Institutions are moving. The common aim is to promote the active ageing of the elderly population, favoring social participation and reducing isolation and passivity. With this purpose intergenerational projects were born; they promote relationships between generations, and in so doing the solidarity, the wellbeing of the subjects involved and the mutual enrichment.
