Perimetrare la bellezza paesaggistica. Una metodologia multidisciplinare per l’individuazione dei boschi costieri toscani “figurativamente caratterizzanti”

Abstract

The article returns the results of a research commissioned by Regione Toscana to identify the coastal territories covered by forests and woods that “figuratively characterize the territory”. On these territories the PIT/PPR prohibits “new building forecasts that involve land consumption”.

The research employed a multidisciplinary approach and produced a cartographic database of the aforementioned formations delivered to the Tuscany Region and not yet published in the cartographic repertoires of the Plan. A circumstance that we believe must be put in some relationship with the complexity of the interinstitutional relationship that exists between the subjects entrusted with landscape planning and those to whom the choices of urban planning are entrusted
