It is an alienating experience that places children and adults in front of feeling of loneliness, fear, and boredom, depending on the disease that led to a pediatric ward, the characteristics of the family and the temperament of the subjects. Families and children need support from competent professionals present in the pediatric ward, including teachers, prepared to welcome their requests, respecting the peculiarities that make a family different from the other, a boy and a boy different from the others.
