Abstract

The alarm for children at risk of poverty and social exclusion in Italy increased after the latest data: the consequences of the current socio-economic crisis are experienced particularly by families with children. This article intends to reach an initial understanding of the effective processes carried out in the research called Citizenship Income 0-3: interrelationships between income, parenting and development of children aged 0-3 in order to assure child development and fighting poverty for children aged 0 to 3, whose families benefit from the Citizenship Income. Listening to the voices of the professionals who are participating in the research, still in progress, and in the light of the P.OVER.TÁ framework (Milani, 2020), conditions and practices responding to the multidimensionality (economic, social, educational, cultural, health, etc.) of the poverty experience affecting family life and child’s development will be presented.
