Abstract

Current urban transformations offer opportunities to increase the ecological value of the city and improve the quality of life at the same time, fostering social interactions and strengthening the identity of places. Targeted and strategically placed designs, sensitive to the characteristics of the contexts, conceived as nodes in an urban network, are able to stimulate renewals that transcend the boundaries of the intervention space. These punctual actions follow directions that connect geographies, territories, spaces and people, enriching daily life with cultural content that enhances the existing context and opens new perspectives for the future.
